Randy Pausch's Last Lecture

Up from the Hub archives. Originally published 2007

Randy Pausch was a Computer Science professor at Carnegie Mellon University that is battling pancreatic cancer. The lecture is absolutely loaded with great advice. Here is just a sample of the wisdom...

“Most of what we learn, we learn indirectly.”

“Brick walls are there for reasons… to see how badly you want something… to stop other people.”

“Wait long enough and people will surprise and impress you.”

“Ignore everything they say and pay attention to what they do.”

“When you do the right things, good things have a way of happening.”

Below is the lecture in it’s entirety. It's long, but it's well worth it. Click here to read more on my latest blog entry about Randy's old football coach.
